Deli Dispatchers

Location: 3290 Doniphan
Work Schedule: Hours & Days Vary (morning and afternoon positions)
ROP: $9.00/hr.

SUMMARY: Individuals first business priority is to assist any customer or potential customer. Nothing is more important than being courteous, friendly, helpful, and prompt in the attention you give to customers.
Prepare and serve foods in a prompt, efficient, and safe manner in accordance with Health Department codes and regulations. Following the Company’s menu, make sure the display counter is full and well presented at all times. Make sure the food looks fresh and appetizing to customers. Have knowledge of the department, including prices and names of products, and implement that knowledge on a daily basis. Keep work area clean (Health Department Codes and Company Regulations) and clear of all potential safety hazards. Make sure all food is labeled and dated.
Cooks: Follow all recipes and menu items as requested by Management. Keep area clean and ready for service at all times.
Dishwashers: Follow all safety and health department rules regarding cleaning and washing of equipment.
Front line: Attend all in a courteous, friendly, helpful and be prompt in attention. Serve the required portions and price all items properly.
SECONDARY DUTIES: Cleaning that includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, and removing trash. Clean all machinery following proper procedures. Make sure food has not passed its expiration date. Learn to use a bailer. Work as a team so our Customer gets the best service available. Therefore, we need to assist wherever our services are needed or where our Customer’s needs lead us to. Help other departments when needed.

Requirements: Previous experience is required. Must have Food Handlers Card. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.

Physical Demands of Job:
Stand and walk for several hours at a time. Carry/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, but always ask for help when needed. Know and follow Company’s Safety Program at all times. Know proper methods of using a box cutter/knife (FOR CUTTING ITEMS, WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT), slicer, pallet jack, hand truck, and all the machinery used in the deli. All Equipment Manuals are located in the store office as well as Main Office for review in case of a doubt. Greet customers and encourage sales. Work several shifts; Company runs on customer’s needs and is open 7 days a week. Every department has a dress code and must be followed.
