SCHEDULE: Full time, Evening Shift, 6 positions

Objectives: Housekeeping attendants will maintain all public and private spaces to employer standards. Housekeeping attendants will be responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuum and mop floors, sanitizes equipment, empties trash receptacles, and replaces lining of trash cans.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To Obtain & Retain Members
• Maintain the facility’s environment pristine at all times.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean building by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect gym equipment.
• Remain focused on the job while dealing with questions, interruptions, or concern from guests and/or members.
• Clean and maintain assigned restroom facilities before during and after operational hours.
• Restock restroom supplies as needed.
• Faithfully and honestly perform restroom inspections.
• Understand the proper use and care of equipment and supplies.
• Read and understand information found in the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) binder.
• Monitor and respond to inappropriate member behavior, including enforcing rules and policies, regulating members’ actions, and requesting assistance from the Welcome Desk and the Management Team if necessary.
• Ensure member satisfaction by displaying an aggressively friendly approach to service guests
• Closely monitor restrooms to ensure a safe operation
• Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
• Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
• Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
• Identify and report possible repairs.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
• Ensure that members’ time at Kinective Fitness Club is as pleasurable as possible.
• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of Kinective Fitness Club’s services, facilities, amenities, policies, procedures, memberships, and rates.
• Provide the highest quality customer service to all members by greeting them with a welcoming, friendly, energetic, and positive attitude at all times. Use members’ names as often as possible. Ensures all members, guests and staff feel competent, confident, and connected.
• Embrace and follow the company guidelines outlined in the Kinective Training and Policy Manuals, and any applicable department-specific team manuals and handbooks.
• Respond to member concerns and/or comments in a timely and professional way.
• Arrive to work 10 minutes early. Wear department-specific uniform.
• Be a team player by contributing to both club and organizational goals.
• Maintain open and honest communication with the leadership team and company personnel; partner together as fitness professionals. Respond within 24 hours to all time-sensitive email, text, and/or phone requests.
• Participate actively in all club, department, and company meetings. Inform the team and club members of developments, promotions, activities, and upcoming events within the club and throughout the organization.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
• Use proper chain of command and ensure the team does the same.
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

As an Environmental Services Associates, additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage order and inventory lists with Operations Manager
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
