Fire Alarm Service Technicians

Location: West El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Part time, Must be able to work on call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ROP: $15.00/hr. negotiable

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fire Alarm Service Technicians are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing and repairing fire alarm systems with minimal supervision. Use required tools and test equipment such as multi-meter, lifts, etc. to repair or replace fire alarm components. Comprehensive working knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards. Perform inspections of fire alarm systems as needed and complete reports for the authority having jurisdiction. Programing and software knowledge with a variety of fire alarm systems that is used when removing or replacing components. Troubleshoot to determine fault or faults to include ground faults with fire alarm systems. Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components such as FACP, power supply, alarm-initiating devices, etc. Communicate with internal and external customers as well as offsite monitoring companies in a professional manner. Other duties may be assigned. Required to be punctual to required work locations and complete projects in timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements: Employment contingent upon pre-employment results. Individual is responsible, reliable, personable, excellent customer service skills, and takes direction well. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not a requirement.
