Work Schedule: Full Time, 7 a.m. -4 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY: We are hiring motivated Solar Installers to join our team at Solar Smart Living. In this role, you will help install high-quality residential and commercial solar panel systems, battery storage systems, and EV (electric vehicle) chargers. Duties include mounting solar panels on roofs or ground mounts, installing battery systems, setting up EV charging stations, running wiring, connecting inverters, and ensuring all systems are safe and fully operational. You’ll work outdoors in a team environment to deliver clean, renewable energy solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on position with strong opportunities for growth in the fast-growing solar, storage, and EV charging industry

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Assist with site preparation and assessment for solar, battery storage, and EV charger installations (measuring, evaluating roof/ground conditions, and ensuring structural suitability).
• Assemble and mount solar panel racking systems, solar panels, inverters, battery storage units, and EV charging stations using hand and power tools.
• ● Install and connect electrical wiring, grounding systems, conduit, and balance-of-system equipment for solar arrays, batteries, and EV chargers.
• ● Perform system testing, troubleshooting basic issues, and quality checks to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety and electrical codes.
• ● Maintain a clean and safe work site, including proper use of fall protection and personal protective equipment.
• ● Help with minor maintenance or repairs on existing solar, battery, and EV charger systems as needed.
• ● Work as part of a crew to complete installations efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Performs other related duties.

JOB SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in construction, roofing, electrical work, solar installation, or related fields is a plus but not required — we provide on-the-job training.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
• Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safe work practices (OSHA 10-hour construction safety training is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV charger installations and pursue certifications (e.g., NABCEP) for advancement.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to do physical labor
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to lift panels/batteries/equipment( up to 50+ lbs)
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
