Janitor/Warehouse

ROP: $12/hr.
Location: El Paso
Work Schedule: Full Time

SUMMARY: The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within assigned areas of the facility. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and supporting the proper functioning of facility equipment. Individuals will be general cleaning and maintenance, plus assisting with shipping and receiving in the warehouse. Other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitation
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust and polish furniture and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, such as hallways and lobbies.
Supplies and Equipment
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure the janitor’s closet is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Safety and Security
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.
Other Duties:
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or facilities-related events.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, labeling, and general labor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous janitorial experience is preferred.

Skills:
• Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks (e.g., sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting).
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and products.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
