Pool Designer/Draftsman
Rate of Pay: $18/hr., Depending on Experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Develop comprehensive pool layouts, including structural, mechanical, and aesthetic features, using advanced CAD software.
• Create detailed schematics, system designs, and assembly drawings aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and NavisWorks to produce accurate 2D and 3D models of pool systems.
• Incorporate GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure precise manufacturing and construction.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate mechanical knowledge into system design, ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, assembly instructions, and construction drawings for use by contractors and builders.
• Support project management by reviewing designs for constructability, performing FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and participating in design reviews.
• Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in CAD drafting with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor or Pro/ENGINEER.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, system design, and construction processes related to pools or similar structures.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards for mechanical systems.
• Skilled in technical writing, schematic development, 2D animation, and assembly modeling.
• Knowledge of FEA tools for structural analysis and system optimization.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately while adhering to project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
