Product Merchandiser and Demonstration Specialist

ROP: $13.00/hour
LOCATION: East El Paso, TX
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Merchandiser to join our team. Occasionally, they will be required to perform the duties of a Demonstration Specialist and might have to work weekends as well. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective placement, presentation, and availability of our products in retail stores. The primary focus will be on optimizing product visibility, shelf space, and overall merchandising strategies to drive and enhance the customer shopping experience. When demonstrations are required, the candidate must showcase our products and engage customers in a retail environment while being responsible for product preparation, product demonstrations, answering customer inquiries, and driving product awareness and sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Product Placement- Drive company vehicle from the plant each day to visit local stores and arrange and organize products on shelves or displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
2. Stocking and Replenishment- Monitor inventory levels and ensure shelves are adequately stocked to meet demand.
3. Visual Merchandising – Create visually appealing displays to highlight featured products and promotions. Promote the visual of the products by keeping area clean.
4. Compliance Checks – Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines and brand standards.
5. Relationship Building – Collaborate with store personnel to build positive relationships and facilitate smooth product placement.
6. Inventory Management – Track and report on inventory levels, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
7. Product Knowledge – Maintain a deep understanding of the product lines to effectively communicate features and benefits.
8. For demonstrations: Setup and breakdown, product demonstration, customer interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIRMENTS:

• Previous experience in product merchandising or a related field is preferred but not required.
• • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual presentation.
• • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Additional education or training in merchandising is a plus.
