Production Operator

ROP: $10/hr.
Start Date: As soon as possible.

SUMMARY: Execute production expectations related to product specs, cycle times, and sanitation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform manufacturing operations according to approved methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Execute and adhere to the written sanitation programs pertaining to the work area
• Ensure that product is manufactured within the corresponding cycle times
• Ensure that product is manufactured to the appropriate specs, following the approved formulas and processes.

KEY TASKS:

• Manufacture product within the corresponding cycle times
• Manufacture product to the appropriate specs, following the approved formula and processes
• Execute the written sanitation programs pertaining to the work area
• Assemble and prepare equipment for production runs
• Eliminate scrap within the process
• Develop and train new personnel, as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Verify formulas and processes prior to start of any production run
• Eliminate opportunities for scrap within the process
• Maintain adherence to the established cycle times
• Maintain production volume according to hour-by-hour expectations
• Manufacture products according to specs and cycle times

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Food Handlers Permit (Required within first 30 days)
• Food Handling Experience (Preferred)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
• Punctual with a flexible schedule
• Quick learner
• Ability to follow orders
• Ability to transfer knowledge to others
• Organized
• Disciplined
• Team player
