Production/Packaging Line (1st Shift) & (2nd Shift)

Rate of Pay: $10.00/hr., 1st Shift, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
$11.00/hr., 2nd Shift, 4 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday

SUMMARY: Entry level job duties vary by department & can include: being on the cooking line; operating machinery and food equipment; making and labeling boxes; weighing, counting, stacking, bagging & boxing food products; stacking full boxes on pallets; moving full pallets with pallet jack; cleaning production / packaging areas; getting needed equipment and supplies; taking out garbage, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Our line work is fast paced and is best suited for high-energy, motivated individuals.
Physical requirements: occasional lifting of 40 pounds from floor to 55″; occasional lifting of 60 pounds from floor to waist; standing 8-10 hours; frequent to constant bending, reaching, twisting and repetitive hand motion.

Language skills: requires the ability to understand and follow simple instructions, and to communicate effectively both one-on-one and in small groups. Basic reading and math skills also required to ensure that the right product is packaged in the right quantities.

Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential, in keeping with our culture of cooperation and respect.

Ability to work independently or assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Be able to walk long distances and carry at least 40 pounds of weight.
