Record Keeper & Quality Control

Rate of Pay: $11.00/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SUMMARY: The Quality Control and Record Keeper Technician is responsible for the quality, record keeping, food safety and esthetics of our products. Employee follow through on set process and ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation standard operating procedures(SSOP) and product quality standards. Technician will perform the activities listed below throughout the manufacturing plant as necessary and on a daily basis.

• Responsible for monitoring, and programing critical control points (CCP).
• Responsible for monitoring food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Responsible for performing sanitation verification on equipment and other areas required.
• Responsible for the correct recording and filling of all HACCP relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
• Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Self-motivated with proven leadership skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior experience in food environment a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must have good oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast- paced, effectively under pressure, and deadline-oriented environmental
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
• Ability to use measuring devices.
• Documentation and reporting skills.
