Zest Café Supervisor

ROP: $11/hr.
LOCATION: West El Paso, TX
SCHEDULE: Full time, Hours Vary, 5 positions

Job Summary: Zest Supervisor directs and coordinates the total operation of retail food operations, food preparation, and food service. Zest supervisor provides an independent leadership for customer service, staff supervision/training, quality control, food safety, and cleanliness, sustainability, food/supply ordering and coordinating with vendors according to the company’s Mission, Vision, Values & Service Standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a team member, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Provide the highest quality customer service to all members and guests by greeting them with a welcoming, friendly, energetic, and positive attitude at all times.
● Ensure exceptional customer service by hiring, training, and maintaining a proactive, efficient, professional, and friendly team.
● Set an example of professional behavior and exceptional customer service for all team members
● Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and organized.
● Maintain upkeep of safety and sanitation standard at highest level and ensure compliance with all regulatory boards.
● Inspects kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
● Perform regular inspection of tray assembly, dish room area, and cafeteria for cleanliness and proper operation of equipment.
● Maintain proper temperature of all food items.
● Implement all processes and recommend enhancement of supply ordering functionality
● Keeps records, such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees.
● Requisitions and inspects food, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met.

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:
• Must have knowledge of retail & club business such as Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Must have 2 – 3 years of Customer Service experience and Management/Leadership experience.
• A Red Cross CPR/AED certification is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a current Texas Food Handlers Certification.
