Cabinet Carpenter & Laborers

Rate of Pay: $10/hr.

Location: Central El Paso
Work Schedule: Full Time M-F 7:00am-3:30pm

SUMMARY: Fabricate and prepare for finishing various wood, composition and plastic structures, and fixtures for field installations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Cut, shape, and assemble wood, composition, and/or plastic sections with shop tools and equipment such as planers, jointers, shaper, routers, sanders, and various power saws. Assemble prepared components for various structures, including chairs, desks, cabinets, bookcases, and paneled doors. Prepare structures for finish applications by planning, shaping and sanding; using hand and power tools. Read and interpret plans, sketches, and shop drawings for milling and fabrication. Prepare materials estimates as directed by supervisor. Determine type and dimensions of wood stock to be used. Maintain and clean equipment and work area. Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least 1 to 2 years of cabinet making experience.


ROP: $12/hr., Depending on experience
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time,
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Repair & install overhead type doors (garage doors) electrical motors, both residential and commercial. Technician will also work on dock equipment. Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Willing to train. Employees will work on Ft. Bliss projects. They pay rate is $15/hr. on these projects. Must meet Pre-employment prerequisite for Government Projects. Must have Valid Drivers License. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Apartment Maintenance I

ROP: $Depends on Experience
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time, M – F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., on call

SUMMARY: Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have previous Maintenance Experience. Must have own tools. English/Spanish preferred.


ROP: $10/hr.
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Days or Evenings between 20 – 30 hours depending on building offered.

SUMMARY: Individuals will clean commercial and residential buildings. Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience preferable.

Maintenance Floor Tech

ROP: $12.00/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: Various Locations
Work Schedule: Hours & Days Vary, 2nd Shift, Some Weekends

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floor and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. Complete pre-employment background and meet hiring criteria. Must have experience with Floor Maintenance Equipment. Employees could possibly be given a raise after 60 day probation depending on work performance.
