Mechanic Shop Assistant

Rate of Pay: $11/hr.

SUMMARY: Helps mechanic perform maintenance and repairs such as tune-ups and all changes, checks tires and breaks, replaces spark plugs and engages in other similar tasks. They will assist mechanic with electrical systems such as replacing batteries, starters and lights.

• Responsible for performing intermediate skilled repair work on automobiles, engines and other equipment.
• Install and help mechanic replace various parts on cars and trucks.
• Help perform complete tune ups and clean motors
• Changing oil, checking batteries, fan belts, filters, tires, wipers, head lights and more.

Qualifications/Requirements: Motivated, independent and self-sufficient personality is a must. Prefer Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency. Computer knowledge is important, Excel, Word, Outlook sufficiency required. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Construction estimating software is preferred but not required.

Sports Official/Referee

JOB SUMMARY: The Sports Official/Ref will assist the Site Coordinator and/or Executive Director in managing Youth and/or Adult Sports programs for the site in accordance with the Association’s goals and objectives. This will involve sports program management, all sports related program supervision, promotion, safety, and volunteer leadership

1. Improve and assist in development of all phases of sports programs for the site. Use of creativity is encouraged.
2. Risk Management - make sure facilities/equipment are clean, safe and in proper working condition prior to use and ensure equipment is used appropriately by participants.
3. Be responsible for all equipment owned by the YMCA. Must help set up and then return equipment to the YMCA.
4. Public Relations - maintain good working relationships with participants and/or school staff where the YMCA may be using their facilities.
5. Keep score for adult and/or youth leagues/tournaments.
6. Update standings of all leagues/tournaments, scheduled and on-going as requested.
7. Stay informed on all up-coming events pertaining to youth/adult sports.
8. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of gymnasium, office and any other areas used by the sports department.
9. Must be punctual for all assignments. This is an essential function of your position.
10. Supervise players at all times.
11. Be a positive part of the YMCA Team.
12. Assist with maintaining accurate records of participation in site sports programs as requested.

After School Counselor

JOB SUMMARY: Provides supervised homework help, activity, enrichment and recreation for school aged children.

Licensed Massage Therapist
