Job Summary: Zest Supervisor directs and coordinates the total operation of retail food operations, food preparation, and food service. Zest supervisor provides an independent leadership for customer service, staff supervision/training, quality control, food safety, and cleanliness, sustainability, food/supply ordering and coordinating with vendors according to the company’s Mission, Vision, Values & Service Standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a team member, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Provide the highest quality customer service to all members and guests by greeting them with a welcoming, friendly, energetic, and positive attitude at all times.
● Ensure exceptional customer service by hiring, training, and maintaining a proactive, efficient, professional, and friendly team.

● Requisitions and inspects food, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met.

• Must have knowledge of retail & club business such as Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Must have 2 – 3 years of Customer Service experience and Management/Leadership experience.
• A Red Cross CPR/AED certification is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a current Texas Food Handlers Certification.

Janitorial (Warehouse)

Rate Of Pay: $10.00/hr.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Job Summary: Common janitorial work in a warehouse setting.

Job Description:
• Takes out the trash and recycling.
• Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.
• Follow instructions from head janitor.
• Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuum floors.
• Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
• Follows safety rules and precautions.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Assists with vehicles cleaning maintenance.

Janitorial Supervisor

Location: Various areas of El Paso and Las Cruces
Work Schedule: Full time
ROP: $16/hr. to start

SUMMARY: Individuals must have ability to Supervise janitorial personnel. Individuals first business priority is to assist any customer or potential customer. Nothing is more important than being courteous, friendly, helpful, and prompt in the attention you give to customers. Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Plan and prepare employee work schedules.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
• Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems, and to discuss company policies.

Requirements: Previous experience in cleaning industry is preferred. Must have knowledge of cleaning supplies. Willing to work night shift from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Must have excellent communications skills, must be able to multi-task, and must have excellent customer service skills. Individuals must be presentable and knowledge of the city is a must. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish) speak, read and write. Must meet Pre-employment Requirements.

Physical Demands of Job:
Stand and walk for several hours at a time. Carry/lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted, but always ask for help when needed. Know and follow the Company’s Safety Program at all times. Employees must wear necessary clothing and equipment to perform job in a safe manner at all times. Work several shifts; Company runs on customer’s needs and is open 7 days a week.

Maintenance Floor Tech

ROP: $13/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: Various Locations
Work Schedule: Hours & Days Vary, 2nd Shift, Some Weekends

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floor and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. Complete pre-employment background and meet hiring criteria. Must have experience with Floor Maintenance Equipment. Employees could possibly be given a raise after 60 day probation depending on work performance.

Janitorial Personnel (Airport)

ROP: $13/hr., Depends On Experience

Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Sunday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Lot Maintenance/Propane Cylinder Attendant

Job Summary: Individual works directly with the Manager on all aspects of the job. The individual understands the responsibility of dispensing the Propane and safety rules and regulations and they maintain the Lot and property as per Ownership’s/ Manager’s recommendations. Customer service is key!
Job Description:

Field Welder

1. Arrive 5 -10 minutes before you are scheduled to be on deck.
2. Report for duty on the pool deck in uniform.
3. While on duty you must wear lifeguard pack around your waist & carry rescue tube.
4. Remain alert and onteh pool deck at all times while on duty.
5. Check chlorine, Ph levels, water level, water and air temperature in pool area and spa.
6. Clean the pool area when no one is in pool.
7. Straighten equipment.
8. Greet members.
9. Keep deck clear of clutter.
10. Brush and skim pool bottom.
11. Read and abide by Personnel Policy
12. Attend all required trainings.
13. Must obtain YMCA Lifeguard Certification as soon as possible.
14. Perform additional task as instructed by supervisors.
15. Report all concerns, incidents, accidents to supervisor immediately.

Sports Official/Referee

JOB SUMMARY: The Sports Official/Ref will assist the Site Coordinator and/or Executive Director in managing Youth and/or Adult Sports programs for the site in accordance with the Association’s goals and objectives. This will involve sports program management, all sports related program supervision, promotion, safety, and volunteer leadership

1. Improve and assist in development of all phases of sports programs for the site. Use of creativity is encouraged.
2. Risk Management - make sure facilities/equipment are clean, safe and in proper working condition prior to use and ensure equipment is used appropriately by participants.
3. Be responsible for all equipment owned by the YMCA. Must help set up and then return equipment to the YMCA.
4. Public Relations - maintain good working relationships with participants and/or school staff where the YMCA may be using their facilities.
5. Keep score for adult and/or youth leagues/tournaments.
6. Update standings of all leagues/tournaments, scheduled and on-going as requested.
7. Stay informed on all up-coming events pertaining to youth/adult sports.
8. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of gymnasium, office and any other areas used by the sports department.
9. Must be punctual for all assignments. This is an essential function of your position.
10. Supervise players at all times.
11. Be a positive part of the YMCA Team.
12. Assist with maintaining accurate records of participation in site sports programs as requested.

Camp Counselor

Pay Rate: $7.25 - $9/hr..,Depends on Experience
SCHEDULE: Part time, 20-30 hours, Hours, Days and Location Varies

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the site summer Camp Coordinator and Executive Director; be responsible for the supervision and management of a school-age group of children between the ages of 5 to 12 years. Provide a program to foster children’s social, physical, emotional and mental growth. Maintain in every way the objectives of the Association and strengthen the relationship between counselor and program participants.

1. Greet and communicate with all children and parents in a friendly, professional manner.

2. Assist in the planning and implementation of the program under the direction of the site camp coordinator.

3. Assist in the preparation of a creative learning environment, establishment of interest centers and the preparation of needed materials and supplies.

4. Assist with general housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe environment.

5. Must supervise children at all times in accordance to Association policies, i.e. Code of Conduct, etc.
