JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a welder to join a locally owned and high quality custom fabrications company. On a daily basis the individual will cut and join metals, along with a few repairs on different materials.

Service Technician

Rate of Pay: $15/hr., Depending on Experience
Work Schedule: M-F

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
• Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device
• Perform maintenance and provide customer support
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
• Order parts needed for repairs if needed
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
• Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, which include bending, lifting heavy

Entry Level Gymnastics Instructor

Rate of Pay: $9/hr. during probationary period, $10/hr. after probationary period
Location: East El Paso
Work Schedule: Part-Time M-F 3:30 p.m. - 7:30p.m., Sat 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.

SUMMARY: Teach children gymnastics following a curriculum, customer service, and some maintenance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Set up and prepare area for classes according to curriculum or lessons plans. Have children warm-up, stretch, and teach them proper fundamentals and technique of skills to be taught using “set up” according to curriculum while maintaining proper class management. Spot and lift children through various skills being taught. Talk to parents in various situations. Talk to potential customers by taking incoming calls or making outgoing calls to set up trial classes. Maintain and clean equipment in work area inside the gym and the lobby. Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: No experience necessary, must be teachable and willing to learn. Must have a fun personality and enjoy working with children. Must have an enthusiasm for helping others reach their goals. Must be a team player and work well with others. Must be willing to be a problem solver. Might be required to lift 30-100 pounds, depending on age of children being taught. Must be comfortable talking to adults in person and on the phone. Must have no previous offenses involving a minor (background check may be required).


Service Technician (Mechanic)

ROP: $Depend on Experience/hr.
Work Schedule: FULL-TIME, M – Friday

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs maintenance, repair and rebuilding jobs at company shops or a customer’s job site/location in a safe, efficient and capable manner, using the least number of labor hours necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Performs service tasks as they may be assigned by the service manager or the shop superintendent.

2. Keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.

3. Reports each service call or repair job at the end of each shift, giving the following information: (a) customer’s name, (b) make and model of unit, (c) serial number, (d) hours worked, (e) travel time, (f) details of worked performed, problems encountered, time required, (g) parts, equipment and supplies used.

4. Reports in complete detail as above with regard to warranty situations handled.

5. Coordinates local parts deliveries to coincide with scheduled service calls.

6. Keeps immediate shop area in which he works in a clean and orderly manner.

7. Brings to the attention of the shop manager/superintendent any additional work required on a unit.

8. Notifies shop superintendent/foreman if shop equipment or vehicle is not in serviceable condition or constitutes a safety hazard.

9. Returns tools to crib at the end of each shift in a clean condition ready for the next man to use.

10. Keeps service bulletins and parts literature current and orderly at all times.

11. Conducts himself in the presence of customers in a manner which will retain a good opinion of the company and the service department.

12. Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend schools and training sessions in order to upgrade technical competence.

13. Performs other duties as prescribed by the shop superintendent from time to time.

14. Promotes the Company by recommending service contracts and additional services; by distributing fliers announcing current promotions.

15. Reports sales leads and important information to management and/or Territory Salesmen (measured by amount if new business and service contracts, and made a part of his overall annual evaluation).

16. Delivers quality work and meets deadlines and goals.

17. Attendance is consistent with company requirements and expectations. (Attendance includes consistent respect for being “on time”).

18. Interaction with co-workers is positive and does everything to insure that he is part of a productive work team.

EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:

Marketing Director/Grants

Pay Rate: $40,000 - $60,000/yr., Depending on Experience
LOCATION: El Paso, TX
SCHEDULE: Full time

JOB SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, health living and social responsibility. This position stewards the Y’s cause and impact, promoting and builds the community’s understanding of the Y as an inclusive organization within the community.

Essential Functions:
1. Develops annual operating goals, objectives and plan for the marketing and communications area. Monitors the achievement of this plan, taking appropriate action to ensure that the goals and objectives are met.
2. Develops, produces and distributes program information necessary to promote assigned programs, in accordance with membership and marketing plans. This includes social media, website content, etc.
3. Establishes contact with media representatives and writes and submits press releases when appropriate. Maintains updated files of Y’s media relations (both press and electronic).
4. Develops effective working relationships with service groups, community organizations and companies. May assist with presentation about the YMCA
5. Provides and maintains related statistics and reports.
6. Assists in researching potential funders, (i.e. foundations, corporations) and builds strong, strategic relationships with current and prospective partners inside and outside the Y.
7. Effectively communicates community benefit and the Y’s impact for all stakeholders (staff, volunteers, members, community leaders) and develops grant proposals to help find the Y’s programs.
8. Establishes and manages a comprehensive process for timely and accurate grant evaluation, quality compliance project and program fulfillment.
9. Reports the sources, uses, and management of donated funds to constituents in order to preserve and enhance confidence in the organization.
10. Manages and implements an organized system of communications internally and externally to provide stewardship to donors regarding grant awards and the management of monitoring of the funders’ requirements for recognition.
11. May assist in the planning and coordination of special events.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Previous professional experience in membership, marketing and/or sales preferred.
3. Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
4. Must have good interpersonal, public relations and communications skills, including the ability to make presentations and handle media inquiries.
5. Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include: completion of on-line/classroom training for Appropriate Touch, Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Prevention, CPR/AED, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Slips/Trips & Falls, and other program specific training as requested by supervisor.
