Cabinet Carpenter Installer & Laborers
Rate of Pay: $12/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: East El Paso
Work Schedule: Full Time M-F 7:00am-4:30pm
SUMMARY: Fabricate and prepare for finishing various wood, composition and plastic structures, and fixtures for field installations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Cut, shape, and assemble wood, composition, and/or plastic sections with shop tools and equipment such as planers, jointers, shaper, routers, sanders, and various power saws. Assemble prepared components for various structures, including chairs, desks, cabinets, bookcases, and paneled doors. Prepare structures for finish applications by planning, shaping and sanding; using hand and power tools. Read and interpret plans, sketches, and shop drawings for milling and fabrication. Prepare materials estimates as directed by supervisor. Determine type and dimensions of wood stock to be used. Maintain and clean equipment and work area. Perform related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least 1 to 2 years of cabinet making experience.
Common Laborer
Rate of Pay: $12.50/hr.
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
SUMMARY: Common Laborer responsible for assisting with general construction and labor tasks, maintaining clean job sites, and supporting crews with daily operations.

Concrete Finishers
Rate of Pay: $12 - $16/hour, DOE, concrete finishers

SUMMARY: Smooth’s and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures by performing the following duties. Labor workers will be removing concrete debri, tying rebar, laying concrete and moving company vehicles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Signals concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete. Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms. Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel. Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, with hand held screed and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping. smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete. Finishes concrete surfaces, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish. Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound. Molds expansion joints and edges. Sprinkles colored stone chips, powdered steel, or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish. Produces rough concrete surface with broom. Mixes cement with hoe or concrete-mixing machine. Directs subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms. Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces. Perform other duties as assigned.

Drywall

Drywall Finisher
Summary: Seals joints between plasterboard and other wallboards to prepare wall surface for painting or papering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Mixes sealing compound by hand or with portable using trowel, broad knife, or spatula. Presses paper tape over joint to embed tape into compound and seal joint or tapes joint, using mechanical applicator that spreads compound and embeds tape in one operation. Spreads and smooth's cementing material over tape, using trowel or floating machine to blend joint with wall surface. Sands rough spots after cement has dried. Fills cracks and holes in walls and ceiling with sealing compound. May install metal molding at corners in lieu of sealant and tape. May apply texturing compound and primer to walls and ceiling preparatory to final finishing, using brushes, roller, or spray gun.
Requirements: 5 years’ Experience. Must have own personal protective equipment and tools.. Physically, workers must be able to: See well (naturally or with correction); Climb and/or maintain balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; Reach for, handle, and manipulate objects; Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more; and work at heights.
Drywall Taper
Summary: Prepare a wet compound, press it into joints, nail or screw holes in the drywall and cover the wet material with tape. When a high level of finish is required, they may also apply two more coats of compound, each of which is sanded to make it smooth. May use automatic tools to apply tape and compound in one step, as well as spray guns to apply decorative, textured surfaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Embed tape, including: mix taping muds; repair fractured drywall (GWB); install joint tape on drywall; roll and glaze inside angles; spot screw heads fastening drywall panels; repair drywall around electrical receptacles. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements. 5 years’ experience. Must own personal protective equipment and tools. Need good vision, manual dexterity and attention to detail. Must be able to stand, bend and stretch for long hours.
Painter (s)
ROP: $14/hr., Depending on Experience

SUMMARY: Perform a variety of painting tasks and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Paint walls, buildings, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting. May mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
