PREPARED FOODS OPERATOR

ROP: $9.00/hr. plus $500 Bonus contingent upon completing 90 day perfect attendance record
Location: 1133 Barranca Drive., El Paso, TX 79935
Start Date: As soon as possible.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for hands-on production work and related tasks. The tasks are labor-intensive in which we roll, assemble, shred, and portion food and food components. The operator will be expected to work on their feet throughout the day shift from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday (opportunities for over-time exist).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (not intended to be all inclusive):

Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces prior to the start of shift.

Prepare packaged food. Package finished goods.

Roll, assemble and portion food items (flautas, tamales, chile rellenos, etc).

Par-fry long green chile in hot oil vats

Cook and formulate food (includes moving/turning large quantities of food in the kettles with paddles)

Prep and cut all vegetables, potatoes, fruits for the entire day’s production.

Ensure that food is being held properly at hot and cold holding temperatures (when assigned).

Keep area clean. Sanitize all food contact surfaces as needed throughout the day.

Follow Company processes and procedures for manufacturing and food safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Person must show basic knowledge of general food safety principals, demonstrate basic proficiency in prep tasks and hold a valid Food Handlers Permit. Individuals will receive $500 bonus which is contingent upon completing 90 days of perfect attendance with company.


Warehouse Supervisor

Rate of Pay: $17.68/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: East El Paso
Work Schedule: Full time

SUMMARY: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees operations at a warehouse to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule.
Directly managing a cross-docking warehouse with day-to-day operations; under minimal supervision from the Branch Manager. This position will oversee the crossdocking operation from El Paso TX to Juarez MX and the inhouse inventory of raw materials and repaired inventory ready to for shipping to costumer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Receiving defective inventory and raw materials and set them up to be transferred to Juarez.
• Receiving finished goods from the Juarez factory and ship them out to the costumer.
• Overseeing a three people operation of shipping and receiving (parcel, LTL & FTL)
• Being in continuous contact with the operations team in Juarez and transfer inventory accordingly to their planning.
• Insures the smooth and consistent day-to-day operations of the branch warehouse to meet the operation needs and expectations.
• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
• Oversees in-house raw materials inventory and finished goods inventory ready to ship out to end costumer.
• Monitors all aspects of the day-to-day operations insuring a safe and orderly facility in compliance with all state and federal regulations and requirements; monitors facility for security issues and presents awareness among all associates of potential security issues and safeguards.
• Develops and supports all branch personnel through on-going communication and training activities to maintain an effective team.
• Coordinates maintenance of all branch equipment to insure reliability and safety.
• Addresses performance issues and employee relations situations that effect day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts at various levels. Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is not mandatory but it’s an important plus.
• Solid decision-making skills
• Ability to perform with little or no supervision in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.
• Ability to organize materials, manage time, and prioritize tasks to complete projects on or before specified deadlines
• Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office) and some degree of experience using WMS & TMS.
• Experience using shipping software such as UPS World Ship & FedEx Ship Manager is a plus.
• Warehouse experience: 3 years (Required)


PACKERS

Rate of Pay: $7.25/hr. - $8.25/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: Central El Paso
Work Schedule: Full time and Part time, Hours and Days vary, Store hours, M – F, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.,
Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 a.m.

SUMMARY: Individuals will be packaging prepared food items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Individuals are responsible for packaging foods items such as chicharrones, candies, etc. for customer sales. Will also help clean work area and follow all health standards. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have food handler’s card and previous related work experience preferred. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).


Warehouse Position

ROP: $7.25/hr. - $8.25/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full time

SUMMARY: Individual will perform warehouse/cashier assistance performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: This position also requires for the candidate to work in freezer temperatures below 20 degrees with the proper gear. He/she will be responsible for loading and unloading the merchandise, and assisting customers with orders. Individual is responsible for the organization and clean-up of the freezer. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have previous warehouse experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Task-oriented. Good time-management skills. Attention to detail. Bilingual English/Spanish required.


Production/Packaging Line (1st Shift)

Rate of Pay: $9.00/hr., Depending on Experience
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full Time, 1st shift Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm

SUMMARY: Entry level job duties vary by department & can include: being on the cooking line; operating machinery and food equipment; making and labeling boxes; weighing, counting, stacking, bagging & boxing food products; stacking full boxes on pallets; moving full pallets with pallet jack; cleaning production / packaging areas; getting needed equipment and supplies; taking out garbage, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Our line work is fast paced and is best suited for high-energy, motivated individuals.
Physical requirements: occasional lifting of 40 pounds from floor to 55"; occasional lifting of 60 pounds from floor to waist; standing 8-10 hours; frequent to constant bending, reaching, twisting and repetitive hand motion.

Language skills: requires the ability to understand and follow simple instructions, and to communicate effectively both one-on-one and in small groups. Basic reading and math skills also required to ensure that the right product is packaged in the right quantities.

Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential, in keeping with our culture of cooperation and respect.

Ability to work independently or assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Be able to walk long distances and carry at least 40 pounds of weight.

Rate of Pay: $9.50/hr., depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 2nd shift Monday through Friday 4:00pm to 12:00am
